The Partnership, which was formed in April 2001, comprises of Partners from:-
The Partnership was created under a scheme introduced by the Department of Transport for the purposes of reducing the incidence and severity of road traffic collisions through the deployment of safety cameras. The reduction can be achieved through changing driver attitude by education, information, enforcement and engineering. Safety cameras are positioned at fixed sites and deployed mobile camera units at locations which have a significant 3 year casualty history and evidence of excessive speed or red light non compliance.
